    Install EAP Controller on Ubuntu server

    Model :

    Hardware Version :

    Firmware Version :

    ISP : [/COLOR]

    Hi Guys,I tried to install EAP-Controller on my Server. (Ubuntu Server 16.04). Everything worked but if I lookup the IP of my server with port 8088 I get the following site instead of the controller software.Can anybody help?

    Da läuft wohl alles mögliche, bloß kein EAP Controller auf port 8088 des Rechners mit der IP 192.168.1.1. Biste sicher, dass das der Ubuntu-Server ist, den Du da adressierst? Falls ja, poste mal die Ausgabe von netstat -tulp (ausgeführt als root).

    Das ist das Ergebnis des Befehlstcp6 0 0 :::8088 :::* LISTEN 20604/java

    Looks Like its only listening on IPv6

    As you see in my posted output it is only listening on ipv6 ??Regards

    That's why I asked for the complete output - there seems to be another service running on port 8088 (nginx often does so in Ubuntu) and therefore EAPC refuses to bind with IPv4.

    Connect to IPv4 port 8088.

    Run netstat -tnlpu as root (the 'p' and running it as root is important) while still being connected.

    Find the name of the process using port 8088 and change the port of this process, not that of EAPC.

    This is what it should look like if EAPC can bind to the IPv4 ports:

    Still not seeing the process serving port 8088. Did you connect to it? You need to find out which process serves the file on IPv4 port 8088 shown in your first post. Use telnet or netcat to keep the connection open while doing a netstat in another window.
